Since 2019, throughout the experience I have gained in the customs, logistics, and foreign trade sectors, I have taken an active role in the areas of process management, system development, data analysis, and operational efficiency. Thanks to my Industrial Engineering background, I have placed importance on evaluating operational processes not only in terms of daily workflows, but also from the perspective of efficiency, sustainability, optimization, and systematic development. By working in French and German companies with international operational structures in Türkiye and Germany, I had the opportunity to closely analyze different business models, operational processes, and corporate system structures. During this period, I focused both on the proper management of operational processes and on making existing systems more efficient, sustainable, and scalable.

Alongside my master’s studies at the Technical University of Darmstadt, I have placed importance on combining theoretical knowledge with operational experience by specializing in process development, data-driven decision-making mechanisms, digitalization, and logistics systems. Throughout my career, I have carried out work in areas such as Power BI, SQL, data analysis, reporting systems, process automation, and system integrations, with the aim of making companies’ operational processes more transparent, measurable, and efficient.

I believe that processes have strategic importance not only in terms of carrying out daily operations, but also in terms of the company’s sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and corporate development. In this regard, I attach importance to the continuous improvement of existing business structures, the reduction of operational bottlenecks, and the active support of digital transformation processes.

At the same time, by supporting an open innovation approach, I find it valuable to establish system structures that can quickly adapt to changing sector dynamics, position technology at the center of processes, and encourage continuous improvement. I believe that customs and logistics operations are not merely operational processes, but a holistic structure that should be addressed together with data, technology, and strategic process management.

As Head of Process and Systems at Gürdal Customs, I aim to contribute to the company’s digitalization processes, take an active role in developing systems that will increase operational efficiency, and support the company’s sustainable growth through a data-driven process management approach.
